__________________________________________________________________ July 14, 2010 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FILE #10-05 PZ A public hearing before the Camdenton Board of Aldermen is scheduled for Tuesday, August 3, 2010, 7:00 p.m., City Hall, 437 W US Hwy 54, Camdenton, MO, 65020. The purpose of the public hearing is for the Board of Aldermen to consider revisions to the City Code of Camdenton, Title IV: Zoning Code Article I, General Provisions-Dwelling Unit, Corner Lot Front Setbacks-Secondary Building-District I-P-Accessory and/or Secondary Buildings, and Article II, District Use Regulations-R-1 Single Family Residential District – R-2 Two-Family Residential District, R-3 Multiple-Family Residential District, R-3TH Multiple-Family Residential Townhouse District, C-1 General Commercial District, C-2 Highway Commercial District, I-1 Light Industrial District, I-2 Industrial District, R-P Planned Residential Districts, I-P Planned Industrial District, and Minimum Yard Requirements. Comments will be accepted at City Hall for consideration by the Board of Aldermen. For additional information, contact the Office of City Clerk, 437 W US Hwy 54, Camdenton, MO, 65020, or phone 573-346-3600. __________________________________________________________________ February 17, 2010 PRESS RELEASE On February 16, 2010, the Camdenton Board of Aldermen approved the recommended increases to the water/sewer rates for the Camdenton water and sewer system. This was after a study was conducted taking into consideration our water/sewer revenues and expenditures for the past six years to determine if the current user charge rates continue to be adequate to pay the cost of operation and maintenance of our system including improvements to Camdenton’s aging lift stations, sewer treatment plant and water system as well as extending infrastructure. At their March 2, 2010 meeting the Board of Aldermen will consider an Ordinance to amend the water/sewer rates with the final reading of the Ordinance March 16, 2010. The user rates will become effective May 1, 2010. The increase will be as follows: Water rates will increase from the present $8.00 for the first 2,000 gallons of water used and $3.00 for every 1,000 gallons thereafter, to $8.80 for the first 2,000 gallons of water used and $3.25 for every 1,000 gallons thereafter. Sewer rates will increase from the present base rate of $5.50 and $1.75 for every 1,000 gallons of water used to a base rate of $6.85 and $2.18 for every 1,000 gallons of water used. Using an average of 7,000 gallons of water usage per month present customers is charged $40.75 water/sewer bill. With the new rate based on an average of 7,000 gallons water used each month the customer will be charged $47.16 water/sewer bill. Camdenton is working toward billing customers monthly but at present is still on bi-monthly billing. EOE __________________________________________________________________ May 6, 2009 NOTICE TO BIDDERS The City of Camdenton is accepting sealed bids for the sale and removal of a Butler Building with steel and metal frame, 100’ X 60’ X 20’ High. The back wall is red brick. The building has two overhead metal doors, one with an electric opener. Bidders are required to have liability Insurance as well as workers comp. Bids will be accepted at Camdenton City Hall, 437 West Highway 54, Camdenton, MO. 65020.
